# RAG (Knowledge)

> Native tools to ingest, search, and manage knowledge collections

Toolkit slug: **`flowra_rag`**.

These tools wrap the [Knowledge](/guides/knowledge) API. Collections use **`projectId`** + **`ownerEUID`** — use **`x-username`** per end user ([multi-tenancy](/guides/multi-tenancy)).

| `FLOWRA_RAG_LIST_COLLECTIONS` | RAG list collections | List knowledge collections for the current owner. |
| `FLOWRA_RAG_ADD_KNOWLEDGE` | RAG add knowledge | Add text chunks to a collection. |
| `FLOWRA_RAG_ADD_FILE` | RAG add file | Ingest a file into a collection. |
| `FLOWRA_RAG_ADD_URL` | RAG add URL | Ingest content from a URL. |
| `FLOWRA_RAG_SEARCH_KNOWLEDGE` | RAG search knowledge | Semantic search over a collection. |
| `FLOWRA_RAG_DELETE_KNOWLEDGE` | RAG delete knowledge | Delete chunks or knowledge in a collection. |
| `FLOWRA_RAG_RENAME_COLLECTION` | RAG rename collection | Rename a collection. |
| `FLOWRA_RAG_DELETE_COLLECTION` | RAG delete collection | Delete a collection and all chunks. |

Attach collections to workflows/agents via `allowedKnowledgeCollectionIds` when creating with `FLOWRA_CREATE_OR_UPDATE_WORKFLOW` or `FLOWRA_CREATE_OR_UPDATE_AGENT`.

## Typical loop

1. `FLOWRA_RAG_LIST_COLLECTIONS` — pick or confirm a collection id.
2. `FLOWRA_RAG_ADD_FILE` / `FLOWRA_RAG_ADD_URL` / `FLOWRA_RAG_ADD_KNOWLEDGE` — ingest.
3. `FLOWRA_RAG_SEARCH_KNOWLEDGE` — retrieve chunks for the agent turn.

From your backend (not agent tools), use the [Knowledge](/guides/knowledge) SDK (`knowledge.search`).
